Jaime Lackey is an accomplished writer and editor. She has written more than 180 articles for national and regional publications, including 120 articles since beginning her freelance career in mid-2007. She has written about a range of topics including eco-friendly trends, medical technology, personal investment, aviator profiles, restaurant profiles, and trends in commercial real estate.
Jaime graduated from North Georgia College & State University in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in English and a minor in Professional Writing. She earned a master’s degree in Journalism & Mass Communication from the University of Georgia in 2005. For her master’s thesis, Jaime studied how the media frames coverage of social protest — specifically how six Georgia newspapers covered the 1961 desegregation riots at the University of Georgia.
